Jude Series

The book of Jude aims at preserving in the faith while contending against false teaching and false teachers. “Jude was going to write a letter on the subject of salvation (v. 3), but changed his mind when he evidently received some disturbing news about individuals departing from the faith. Jude wrote to counter what he saw was taking place. The Apostle Peter saw apostasy in the future in his letter entitled 2 Peter, while Jude sees the apostasy beginning.”1 This is why 2 Peter and Jude are often studied together. In our day, we hear of many people “deconstructing their faith,” especially after the pandemic and so this book is timely for us to persevere in the faith.
