Mary Lou graduated from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario and received a one-year Bible certificate from Bodenseehof, Germany (1989). Mary Lou taught Junior Kindergarten at Central Baptist Academy in Brantford from 1993-2000. After turning over these ministries to local leadership in 2016, they moved to ABWE’s International Headquarters in Pennsylvania. There, Jacky continued to participate in outreach ministries, and John served on the Senior Leadership Team as Vice President of Training & Resources, overseeing various initiatives, missionary development, theological education, and the Good Soil Evangelism & Discipleship ministry.
John and Jacky studied at London Baptist Bible College and Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary, with John receiving degrees in Bible & Pastoral Studies, missions and New Testament. John also recently graduated with a Ph.D. in Educational Studies. Their sending church is Calvary Baptist Church in Guelph, Ontario.
John and Jacky are excited to be back in their “home country”, serving the ABWE Canada missionary family and introducing Canadian churches to the many resources that are available through ABWE’s global family of ministries. Their goal is to help Canadian churches thrive and fulfill their Great Commission objectives.
John holds graduate degrees in missions, theology and education. John is passionate about facilitating learning in communities of faith, and joined the ABWE training team in 2016, while Jacky has a passion for the lost throughout the world and for developing relationships with unbelievers.

Pastor Ruslan Murataev (Ukraine)
Pastor Oleg Stretovich (Ukraine)
Other:
Daniel and Emily Ford with BMFP (Moldova)
Vision for our mission work in Moldova:
1) Preach the Gospel of Christ to the lost in need of salvation.
2) Teach believers to follow the commands of Christ.
3) Grow together in the unity of the faith and knowledge of Christ.
4) Serve each other and the community as the body of Christ.
History of our mission work in Moldova: In the fall of 2002 our family received a call from the Lord to serve as church planting missionaries to the people of Moldova, a small country located between the Ukraine and Romania in Eastern Europe. We spent 18 months traveling and presenting our burden to churches and Christians throughout the U.S. and Canada seeking others who could partner with us and help sustain the missionary work through prayer and financial support. Our family arrived in Moldova in spring 2004 and focused on learning the language and culture while also helping a struggling village church and a large evangelistic camp ministry. In 2007 we moved to take the lead in planting Maranatha Baptist Church of Hincesti, Moldova. Year by year the small church family has grown both in number and in their faith in the Lord. We have lead the church's ministries to focus on evangelism and making disciples through children's Sunday school, day camps, youth ministries, missions outreach, ladies discipleship and men's discipleship programs. From the beginning the church met in many different places including a kindergarten, small houses, and even an old bar/cafe. We learned to trust God to provide a church building and He has helped us buy land and construct a church in Hincesti step by step. In 2012, we were able to move in after finishing a couple small rooms and kept on building as God provided. Currently, everything is finished except for the auditorium which we continue to build as we are able. Please pray for our family and church as we serve the Lord that many would be saved, baptized, discipled and more churches would be started, all for His glory!
Steve Jones (FEB National President)
Steve Jones was born and raised in Montreal by his parents Bill and Joan, two British immigrants, who raised their three boys in a loving home. Steve received some religious teaching from the local Anglican church which helped foster a childhood interest in spiritual things. After a family move from Montreal to Brampton, ON, two teenage friends had a significant impact on Steve’s spiritual life. On December 24, 1978, Steve surrendered his life to Christ while attending a Christmas Eve church service. Three weeks later, he began attending Bramalea Baptist Church and their very active college and career ministry. These early years were a time of significant spiritual growth. Steve had been attending Ontario College of Art and Sheridan College’s Animation School with aspirations of becoming a film maker. However, the Lord called him into the ministry within a couple years of his conversion to Christ. Steve completed a BTh at Central Baptist Seminary and did further studies at University of Waterloo.
Steve’s core values have been loyalty, gratitude and courage. His spiritual gifts are leadership, pastor-teacher and prophecy (preaching). His passion areas have been in the spheres of evangelism, prayer, leadership development, strategic planning, the persecuted church, church and military history, and the church once again recapturing the arts. Steve has a deep love for the arts whether that be visual, drama, music, or dance. He loves laughing with friends, chatting with spiritual seekers, dreaming with leaders, and praying with the hurting.
